Stationary engines (Hit N Miss):were used on most farms to run various kinds of power tools and equipment. Powering circular saws, water pumps, and hay elevators are a few of the endless chores these engines are capable of. These engines were fitted to a wooden cart with steel wheels, called a truck, in order to be moved around. Once moved into postion, the engine is joined to the equipment by a flat belt.
